Opportunities
When we build, we build more than houses - we build hope.

Build
Volunteer
Join us on the construction site and help build safe, affordable homes for local families. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours, offering a hands-on way to make a lasting difference in your community. No prior experience is needed - our site supervisors provide all the training, tools, and guidance you’ll need. Tasks may include framing, painting, landscaping, or adding the finishing touches that turn a house into a home.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Minors ages 16–17 are required to contact the office [here] for a waiver to be signed by a legal guardian. No one under 16 may volunteer on the build site.

Micro-Shift
Volunteer
If you’d like to make a difference but can’t commit to a full-day shift, our Micro-Shift Volunteer Program offers a flexible way to give back. Join us for 2-hour, focused shifts at our ReStore or build site - perfect for busy schedules, students, or first-time volunteers looking to get involved. Every hour helps us move closer to our mission of building safe, affordable housing for families in Erie County.

ReStore
Volunteer
The Habitat ReStore helps fund our homebuilding efforts by selling donated furniture, appliances, and building materials at affordable prices. ReStore volunteers assist with donation intake, customer service, organization, pricing, and keeping the store clean and inviting. Every shift helps generate funds that directly support local Habitat homes.
