Twice a year, Habitat holds an application session for potential homeowners. During this process, the team reviews applications, visits selected applicants in their homes, and recommends qualified candidates to the board for approval.

 

Time Commitment: 7-8 hours per year

Our affiliate builds 3 houses per year and gives priority to those with the largest housing need in our community first, which is families with minor children who live in their household. Families with children who are older than 18 years of age, single persons, someone who is pregnant with their first child and/or if your parents live with you, are a lower priority.
