Answer:
No, the Erie affiliate currently does not renovate or repair homes.
Question:

Are there any other ways to volunteer if I'm not a builder?
Answer:

Absolutely. There are so many ways to help! You can volunteer at the ReStore, join a committee, serve at special events, assist with office tasks, or get involved in community outreach. Every skill and helping hand makes a difference.
Question:
Do you need to have experience to volunteer at a Habitat home site?

Not at all! Most of our volunteers come with no construction experience. Our site supervisors will teach you everything you need to know and make sure you feel comfortable and supported.
Question:
My church group or business has a service day coming up. How can we help as a large group?
Answer:
We love hosting groups! Whether it’s your workplace, faith community, school, or club, we’re happy to find a project that fits your group size and abilities. Just reach out to schedule a build day, ReStore shift, or event support opportunity.

Question:
Are Habitat homes free to applicants?
Answer:
No. Habitat homeowners qualify for an affordable 0% interest mortgage that is repaid over 20–25 years. They also complete at least 300 partnership hours, working alongside volunteers on other Habitat homes as well as on the home that will eventually become theirs.
Question:
Can youth groups volunteer?
Answer:
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work on the construction site. Volunteers ages 16–17 will need a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.
