From Blueprint to Home:
Current & Completed Projects

The Greater Erie Area Habitat for Humanity has provided homeownership opportunities for more than 79 families in the Erie area including 4 in Union City over 36 years. We have built 78 new homes and are working on homes 79 & 80!

New construction Habitat houses are generally a 3-4-bedroom design. House size is based on family need. All our new construction houses include a shed for extra storage, washer and dryer hook-ups, and a driveway for off-street parking.

Current Builds
#79 & 80
The Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Houses

April 21st marked the first day of a continued partnership between Greater Erie Habitat and Erie Insurance. EI is partnering with us to sponsor these important builds honoring former President Jimmy Carter and the former First Lady Rosalynn Carter's contributions to Habitat for Humanity. These builds also coincide with Erie Insurance's historic 100th anniversary serving the Erie community. Erie Insurance employees will participate in building our 79th and 80th Habitat homes in 100 days! From April, 2025 you can follow the build progress on our social media sites.
